Painting Plein Air in Colorado

Painting plein air in watercolours can be a challenging task. The weather conditions can quickly change resulting in a changed light, sky, visibility, colours or limited area accessibility. This can be particularly true when painting on locations in a high country mountains. But it can also be very rewarding when the weather stays good and you have completed all of the painting on location! It happened to me recently while attending a plein air event in Colorado.
